Understanding Cipro Otic Suspension

Ciprofloxacin otic suspension is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial ear infections. It works by killing bacteria causing the infection.

Before You Use It

    Inform your doctor about any allergies, particularly to antibiotics. Discuss other medications you’re taking, including over-the-counter drugs. Report any existing ear conditions or previous ear surgeries.

How to Apply

Wash your hands thoroughly. Gently clean your outer ear with a clean cloth. Tilt your head to allow the medication to reach the infected area. Instill the prescribed number of drops into your ear canal. Gently pull your earlobe upward and backward (adults) or downward and backward (children) to straighten the ear canal.
