When to Seek Medical Attention

Contact your doctor immediately if you experience a severe allergic reaction, including difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, or hives. Seek immediate medical care for any signs of a serious infection, such as high fever (over 101°F or 38.3°C), persistent vomiting, severe diarrhea, or worsening symptoms despite taking amoxicillin.

Report any new or worsening symptoms to your physician, including persistent rash, unusual bruising or bleeding, dark urine, or yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice). These could indicate serious complications. If you notice signs of Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea (severe, watery diarrhea, abdominal cramps, fever), contact your doctor right away.

If you experience severe stomach pain, unusual fatigue, or significant changes in your bowel habits, consult your doctor. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding your treatment, even if they seem minor. Your health is our priority.
